Description
This is a list of individuals who have invested in so called TMT (technology, media & telecom) shares. The acronym TMT has appeared, shorthand, for technology, media and telecoms. There are now companies referred to as "dotcoms" and a distinction between "old" and "new" economy stocks has opened. The new economy largely relates to the internet, either directly or indirectly, to computer and software providers, and to the telecommunications and media sectors, which will be significant users of new technology. Among the old economy stocks are food and drinks companies, retailers, unless they can demonstrate an internet strategy, and utilities groups.
TMT investors accept the fact that these shares carry a considerable element of risk and many of them will have experienced a poor return on their investments to date. Customer Profiling shows that most people are from the higher socio-economic groups, predominantly male, between 25 and 45 years old, and in the middle to higher income brackets.
Data is 100% postcoded and cleaned against the MPS and TPS files; new names are being added daily.
Accuracy
All names were contacted within the last 3 months; individuals who no longer invest in technology, media and telecom shares are automatically removed from the database.

Data structure
The following fields are supplied, as standard, for each record: Name, full address including PAF verified postcodes, telephone number.
Output formats
Data is supplied as an ASCII comma-delimited text (.txt) file, on CD-Rom or via e-mail. The comma-delimited text format is the default format for the despatch of our lists, as it is suitable for import into any spreadsheet, database or contact management software, as well as mail-merge; however, if you would prefer to receive your list in Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Access format, you will be able to note this in the "Comments" box, when you place your order.
Delivery
Data is dispatched on CD-ROM or via e-mail and also labels (if required), as specified in our online shop; where we send you our list by e-mail, this is usually done the same day the order is placed; otherwise, please allow 1-2 working days from receipt of order.
CD-ROMs as well as labels are sent by first class, recorded mail.
